NIRA engaging with guests and young participants from the fields of industry, technology, art and education in China and abroad.

Built around the theme “AI-Driven Synergy Between Technology and the Humanities, Unleashing the Creative Potential of Youth,” the HONOR Alpha Art & Tech China Tour 2026 is a cross-cultural exchange program through which HONOR connects young people worldwide with art and technology.
This year’s program brought together 20 outstanding students from 10 countries: the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Romania, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Mexico and Peru.

During the 10-day program, the participants traveled to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Beijing, visiting leading technology companies, historic and cultural landmarks, and prominent art institutions. The journey gave them an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into China’s technological innovation, art education and cultural heritage.
During the closing event, Professor Yabin Wu, Secretary-General of NIRA and Executive Director of the AI for Sustainable Development Hub, visited the exhibition of works created by the young participants and viewed a range of projects exploring the convergence of technology and art. He also exchanged views with participating guests on artificial intelligence, art and design, technology for good, talent development and sustainable development.
NIRA believes that artificial intelligence is continually expanding the boundaries of artistic creation and design innovation. Advancing the integration of technology and art should not only harness AI to stimulate the creativity of internationally minded talent and promote mutual learning among civilizations, but also remain people-centered and guided by the principle of technology for good.
Young people should be encouraged to use emerging technologies to express emotions, create value and respond to the shared challenges facing humanity.

Looking ahead, NIRA will continue to promote the use of AI in education and its integration with sustainable development. By connecting international innovation resources, the Alliance will advance youth exchange, capacity building and collaborative project development, enabling technology to better serve human creativity and social progress.
